L'ATELIER MELUSINE offre un large éventail de formations et d'enseignements spécialisés ainsi que des opportunités pour des stagiaire. Nous sommes ravis d'avoir eu notre premier stagiaire alloué par le gouvernement français, Louis Goulding, qui a terminé son stage de deux semaines le 18/06/2021 dans le cadre du programme Amorce de Parcours. Louis suit la voie d'une carrière dans la décoration d’intérieure et a eu l'occasion de travailler avec nous sur un tas de projets et d'essayer plusieurs techniques différentes, notamment la conception de papiers peints, la préparation des surfaces, les différents produits de peinture, les glacis et les vernis naturels, la gravure, les techniques de peinture aux pigments et aux chaux, la rénovation de bâtiments historiques, la préparation et l'habillage d'espaces de vente au détail et de galeries, l'installation d'expositions contemporaines, ainsi que le mentorat international d'architectes d'intérieur clés dans le secteur de l'hôtellerie. De plus, Louis a passé deux jours de tournage et d'habillage de décors pour Channel 4 pendant son séjour et devrait donc apparaître à la télévision britannique et américaine en 2022 !

ATELIER MELUSINE offers a wide range of specialist training and teaching as well as opportunities for interns, we are delighted to have had our first French government allocated intern, Louis Goulding, who finished his two week internship on 18/06/2021 as part of the Amorce de Parcours scheme.
Louis is following the a career path in Interior Design and has had the opportunity to work with us on a range of projects and try several different techniques. These include wallpaper design, surface preparation, different paint products, glazes and natural varnishes, printmaking, pigment and chaux paint techniques, refurbishment of historic buildings, preparation and dressing of retail and gallery spaces, contemporary exhibition installation as well as international mentoring from key interior designers in the hospitality quarter of the industry. Additionally Louis spent two days filming and set dressing for Channel 4 during his stay and so should appear on UK and USA television in 2022!

Louis’s reflection on the two weeks spent working with ATELIER MELUSINE :
“Working with the ATELIER MELUSINE was great - I never imagined the variety of work that there would be or that I would end up being filmed for the television as well as doing things like mixing my own, chaux paints, removing windows, taking measurements and hanging exhibitions.
The Armorce de Parcours has been amazing for me - it has allowed me to really understand what I want to do and how to find and follow the career paths in front of me.”

“Travailler avec l'ATELIER MELUSINE, c'est génial ! - Je n'aurais jamais imaginé que le travail serait aussi varié, que je serais filmé pour la télévision et que je ferais des choses comme mélanger mes propres peintures, enlever des fenêtres, prendre des mesures et accrocher des expositions.
L'Armorce de Parcours a été formidable pour moi - elle m'a permis de vraiment comprendre ce que je veux faire et comment trouver et suivre les parcours professionnels qui s'offrent à moi."
