Curation Annett - 1991 - 2017

Annett working initially with Gavin Anderson the late Mike Stanley supported by MK Council, the Public Art Engament Group, thecentre:mk and Midsummer Place began a series of events which led to the emergence of several key events organisations from what was ‘The Silbury Group; FRINGEMK, The MK Cenotaph project, MK Festivel Fringe, Westbury Studios and ultimately the ‘IF’ festival.

Annett has promoted the commissioning of site specific temporary arts events in public spaces and has recieved support from the Arts Council England for all her public and personal projects. She encourages collaboration and partnership working and quotes Ashcroft - Nowicki by saying ‘ one of the wickests thing a person can do to another is towithhold information’.

Annett and the ATELIER MELUSINE support Diversity and the future of the space is focussed on environmental and women’s protection and preservation.
