Dear Friends
We are delighted to invite you to join us in South West France in June of 2025 for this residential symposium, offering a rich programme of presentations, meditative sessions and exchanges around 21st Century Kabbalah.
We will contemplate the Kabbalistic principles of the Tree of Life, meditate with sacred Hebrew texts and explore our personal creativity to deepen our experience of embodying Creation.
Each morning, guest teachers will present Kabbalistic teachings on Creation and human consciousness. We will explore the Hebrew texts of Genesis, (Bereshith) and Exodus (Ve’ Ellah Shemot) and their interpretation according to the four levels of : physicality, the psyche, spirituality and the divine. Encouraging discussion of artistic, philosophical and scientific concepts that illuminate the evolution of consciousness within a modern, Kabbalistic framework
The week-long conference is set amidst the tranquil gardens, lakes and woodlands of the Domaine de Forge. The traditional buildings have been beautifully restored and the extensive private grounds allow us to be completely immersed in the beauty and peace of the natural world during lush early summer.
Afternoons will be free for you to explore local towns, museums, restaurants and markets. Or you can simply relax, go walking in the grounds, sauna or swim in the indoor pool.
The early evening programmes will offer a choice of workshops on artistic and creative expression, meditative walking, dance, nature connection and yoga.
The final daily session will comprise of lectures and meditations to bring each day to a peaceful close.
We will also take a day to visit some of the magnificent heritage sites in the region: such as the Abbey de St. Savin, a UNESCO world heritage site only 20 minutes away in the Valley of the Frescos or the unique geology of the river gorge of Roc de l’Enfer at Lathus.
The Domaine de Forge is situated near the cities of Poitiers and Limoges, whose airports have regular budget flights to the UK and train (TGV) services to Paris and the Eurostar. There is a connecting railway station nearby in the town of Montmorillon from which we will collect residential visitors without their own means of transport.
Prices for the course begin at 820 euros / 695 pounds sterling, this covers the accommodation, teaching, excursions and food for the week. La Forge offers a range of accommodation, from single rooms with shared bathrooms, to double rooms ensuite. Please see the pricing section further down this webpage for more detailed information.
The primary language for the course will be English.
